Shipping Instructions

If you live beyond a reasonable driving distance from the Frontier shop, you have the option of shipping your birds, just follow these guidelines:

  1. Call (802) 868-4445 and notify us before shipping. Ship on a Monday or Tuesday,
    if possible.

  2. Every bird must have an I.D. tag (click here) and Order Form (click here).
I.D. tag must be filled out completely.

  3. Make sure your bird is frozen solid and double wrapped in plastic freezer bags. Obtain a styrofoam cooler and pack birds inside with newspaper or other insulating material. Tape cooler shut, put inside a cardboard box and tape shut. The outside of the box needs to be labeled with the contents (i.e. 1 mallard, 1 wood duck)

  4. Ship birds by FedEx or UPS. Next Day Air in summer, Second Day Air is fine in winter. Do not ship via USPS.

  5. Ship birds to:
    Frontier Waterfowl Taxidermy
